Kinda bummed
I would really like to take Alexis to see the professional Nutcracker Ballet performance by the Tulsa PAC Ballet, but the tickets are pretty pricey, plus we would have to do parking and pay a sitter for Viv and Deuce for the evening. That would leave us out close to $150 if we played it really safe. Ugh. :(
The reason it makes me sad is that she specifically asked just the other day while seeing a commercial for the performance if we could go see the pretty dancers for Christmas. *sigh* Its really all she has asked for.. and it makes me really REALLY sad that quite honestly I cannot afford it right now. I looked into the tickets for this Sat night, and they still have a lot avaialable. It frustrates me that they do not further discount the tickets when it gets closer to the show date. I just really want to take her and Im so very sad. :*( I know I could say to hell ith it and squeeze tha tickets out of our money.. but that would mean not paying a bill more than likely. Not a smart plan.
Oh well.. Im trusting that what happens happens and it will be fine either way. Id love for me and Daddy to be able to take her though.. just a big girl night out alone on the town with us. Maybe even take her for Sushi since she likes it so much and its a cheap thing for us since Im not a huge eater! LOL I have a gift certificate still too for In the Raw.. lol
OK well I must be getting off of here. Just felt the need to vent. Its the holidats.. and Im really glad I got to be a part of the Guts Girls Gives Back even last night. We went aorund with Santa to an abused and battered womens home where they all had at least 2 children. Those kids were AMAZED and thrilled to see us and Santa. Really enjoyed it! Im thankful for every bit of giving that Im able to do this year. Its not a lot, but my time is worth a lot and I know that.
