NYC Convention
the con was amazing, and first i want to thank the con committe (larry, mad man, dawn, hilary, ron, chad and matt) for putting together a great weekend.
ben and i arrived (after a very scary flight on a very tiny plane) at the hotel at about 1pm. we met up with swedishfishnets in line, which was nice. we spent some time at the met that afternoon before returning to the hotel to get ready for international night.
here's ben as canadian brad. i don't actually have a pic of myself, but a few people took some so i'm sure i'll find one around.
everyone's costumes were great, and it was cool meeting everyone.

i wished i'd gotten a picture of allah_sulu as burqua frank. that was quite entertaining. again, i'm sure one will crop up.
later that night, there was a quick q and a with sal piro, president of the rhps fan club.
then came the showing of shock treatment, which was great. the cast was amazing, as were their costumes.
mad man, emily, patti as cosmo, ansalong and nation.
patti and mad man as nation and cosmo.
then we all went to the regular nyc cast showing of rocky. they were absolutely incredible. i couldn't take my eyes off of them the whole time. met up in the lobby with swedishfishnets again, and her friends boymaenad and i think ryan, who's lj i don't know and who played brad on saturday night. didn't get to sleep till about 5am, but it was worth it.
