Communicating with animals

My blog has been badly neglected.

I'm buried up to my eyeballs with work and weekends, I'm tied up with all the voluntary work.

Last Saturday, we had a volunteers gathering and one of the volunteers asked me to help talk to her sister's dog. She has been behaving out of sorts ever since she fell sick and bites people.

I initiated a communication session with the dog. It was a painful session, literally.

I felt a constant sharp pain in the right side of my head during the session. It only went away after I stopped the session with the dog. The dog showed me a blue cloth and she was playing with the cloth and I see her running in circles. I asked why she doesn't allow people to touch her and is it ok for her owners to touch her.

She associate touching with pain so she bites when people touch her, including her owners.

I'm not surprised why she's so grouchy. If I have that kind of constant pain in my head, I would be blardy grouchy too. The volunteer mentioned that the vet suspect the dog has a constant headaches and she gets seizure and runs in circles.

The volunteer went back to check with her sis and her sis confirmed that the dog sleeps on a blue cloth!

Poor dog, it must be really uncomfortable with the pain in the head. Just 10 mins of experiencing the pain through her, I couldn't take it already. I cannot imagine she has to put up with that pain every day.

=(

These few days I've been working on a dog that went missing 21 days ago. Owner wants to find the dog, but when I talk to the dog, the dog told me she doesn't want to go home. I hope there will be a happy ending for both the dog and owner, will update when this comes to a conclusion.

I'm still trying to convince the dog to go home, but she's happy with another family now. Maybe I should just let it be, since she's happy there.
