Playtime
Finally set the playpen up for the little furballs to play.
I've thought of doing it when Momo was around when i wanted to bring the girls over cos there's no way i can run after 3 chinchillas if i let them free run in the living room.
I should have done this earlier, maybe Momo would still be around. But Momo being Momo, no playpen can hold him. He would be bored within days. Just like with the sofa.
I never regretted letting Momo have his free run. I know he enjoyed it very much and it made him very happy. I just blame myself for not being careful enough.
This looks fun, lemme see if i can escape..
Nana, you can't catch me. Neh neh di boo boo

Peek-a-boo. What's outside this playpen? Can i go out?
Lets see who can get out fr under the chair faster. Nana u lost!
Hurry up Nana! Follow behind me closely. We must complete this obstacle course in 1 min if not Mummy won't give us our treats!
While Shasha n Nana were playing, Bernbern stuck his head out of his cage door and I felt as that he wanted to come out too.
During the session with Rosina, he told me that he likes to play but because he can't see clearly and balance properly, he gets stressed n panics everytime i put him outside his cage. The living room's too big n has too many obstacle for him to get familar with.
So I have go slow and easy with him.
I took him out and place him together with his pee pan so he feels less stressed.
He struggled to get his bearings right and was v panicky. He'll venture only the area near the pee pan. I was determined to let him venture further.
So i took his food bowl and fav toy out to stimulate a similar environment as his cage
It worked! He slowly started to venture away fr the pee pan and ran ard the food bowl.
Eventually he ventured further to where the toy was.
Taking a break after running in so many circles. I got dizzy watching him.
I'm so proud of Bernbern. There was a little hiccups initially. He went on reverse gear for a while, reversing his way ard the playpen but he perserved and eventually got his bearings right.
After a while, I don't feel that he's stressed anymore unlike the times whem i place him on the living room floor.
Although I can't hear his thoughts, i dare say he did enjoy the session. :)
My heartaches watching him. He can't hop around obstacle course like the girls. All he could do was to run in circles. Even doing so took a lot of courage and perservance from him because of his physical condition.
It wasn't easy n my boy did it and had fun eventually in his cute little way. Muacks. Well done baby!
