Nana is finally out!
Wow.
2 milestones a day. I hope the previous one dun get repeated. No more peeing outside the pee pan girls!
This is wonderful. Nana finally took the big step today and hopped out of the cage herself onto my lap.
I'm sooooo proud of her. She has never done that before ever in the 2 over years at Bern's place. She'll just stick her head out and peek but never had the courage to hop out.
Spent the afternoon coaxing her, telling her not to be scared, its safe to jump out, I'll protect her. I placed her on my lap and turned my back to the cage so she can't hopped back and kept reassurring her its ok, she's safe. Kept her there for a while before ketting her back to the cage. The moment i turned back towards the cage, she bolted back.
And tonight, she made the hop! I've been asking her everyday if she wants to come out and play, tat its ok to hop out, she doesn't need to be scared, i won't hurt her and she finally came out! she hopped out quite a few times and stayed on my lap on her own accord.
That's my girl :) It is such a sweet feeling to see she's finally learning to trust me and that she's getting braver.
Previously, when I took her out, she'll bolt back into the cage in less than 3s.

Shoulder time for Shasha. She nibbles on my ear, hair, hairband, scrunchie.. Just short of hopping onto my head and poo-ing there.
I'm ecstatic that Nana is finally opening up to me. Maybe the session with Rosina helped ;)
My next challenge and the biggest challenge all this while is too get Bernbern to trust me again. I've been trying so hard for the past 1 over years. He bit me a few times today as usual when i try to carry him out if the sandbath container.
He used to love being cuddled by me but not anymore ever since he fell sick because everytime i handle him, he relates it to all the unpleasant cleaning ears n eyes session.
Poor baby.
