it's odd how the people we care for influence us

Raven's persistance to mark every single post in her journal with the mood "chipper" has wonked me out. I don't get it, though she did take the time to explain it to me once. Regardless, it's how she chooses to go and I can't fault her for it though I continually fail to wrap my noggin around the concept...
...although it has kinda wormed it's way into my mood themes.
For the most part, most of the mood themes I setup do not take advantage of the full range of 132 moods that livejournal has made available to all of us. Since it's a tree branching system, you can easily select one particular branch at its root and what you set for that will cover a bunch of things. Like "confused" also covers "curious", "determined" covers "predatory", "lazy" covers "listsless" & "lethargic" and so on and so forth. Most of them cover a lot more than just one or two; "happy" alone covers about 20 others. So a lot of my mood themes are just a small handfull of images that cover the whole tree.
Basically, you can have 15 and that'll basically cover it...while 35 is more ideal and works for a more complete mood. There are a few stand alone ones that effect none of the others at all.
Normally "chipper" is covered in the range of "happy" and I don't pay it much attention at all unless I'm doing a full 132 set. However, since
Raven is so obsessive about this one thing, even though she's never shown any interest in ever using any of the moods I've setup, I've gotten in the habit the last several months of making sure there's an individual one just for "chipper" regardless the extent of the mood theme I'm working on.
Go figure.

Raven or not...if you'd take the time to pop over to her journal to comment something nice or uplifting or just excessively nice, I'd really appreciate it.
