quite the tail, eh?
I was skimming my usual source of the sprites I build my mood themes from (Clicky!) when I came across this guy; was actually part of a group shot done in .PNG format but I can edit this kinda stuff fairly well so long as it's not animated. While I'm tempted to see if I can squeeze him into my Venom mood ( Clicky!), I'll likely just put him into the primary one I'm still working on for
Webheads, or maybe the constantly shifting one I've got on de
Multi·Genre·Fandom, and possibly another all comic character one I've been toying around with starting.
For those unfamiliar with why Venom's got a tail here, and haven't been keeping up on comic history backgrounds, the original host (Eddie Brock) to the living costume sold it on the black market and as it passed from its original purchaser, after killing him, it made a new friend in Mac Gargan (The Scorpion). the tail wasn't manifested until fairly recently though, in the rather non·canon series Beyond; which is a present day take on the original Secret Wars series.
I kinda like him like this...though, similar to Spidey's red & gold duds, I'm not too sure I want this to last forever.
