sitting here in limbo
Friday was an end to a very short working week as far as hours go. Annoyingly I would have made more money last week by staying at home and collecting unemployment. I was told to call my boss this morning which I did earlier knowing full well that he would say to me "I don`t know yet I will call you back". So now I am sitting here waiting on him to call me back and I would say it looks like I am not working today but then again maybe I am working today but starting late. You never can tell.
I hate this type of working situation. It is days like this one that make me kind of wish I had a nice reliable office job. 9 to 5 Monday to Friday steady work. Soon it will be Thanksgiving and then Christmas so the work situation does not look like improving. I will get time off for Thanksgiving but I would rather work and earn some money.
In other news I got the Yes Men on dvd for $3 and Ken Loach`s Bread and Roses for $2. Bargains. Today though I should get busy living. I like to be productive on my days off when they are work days.
