Update...
Still not dead and still employed.
Winter seems to have finally finished. Two weeks ago we had a two day winter storm with over six inches of ice pellets/snow and some freezing rain. Monday last it reached over 20C and the trees are starting to bud.
Health-wise my Fistula continues to worsen but at least I'm now on the 'expedite' list for an MRI followed by surgery. The MRI is scheduled for Sept 10th and I see the Surgeon a week later. Hopefully I may actually get surgery this year...but it is uncertain as the surgeon may not have any spots left in his surgery quota for 2018. I will also have to be operated on by two surgeons, one the Fistula specialist and the second being a Urologist Surgeon to deal with the Fistula tract through my Scrotum.
I'm really not pleased with how slow health care is here in Ontario...at least it looks as if the current crop of idiots mismanaging the Province will be replaced in the upcoming election.
