...was a first for me today.

It occurred at the wound care clinic at the local hospital. It wasn't my whole backside, just around the surgical site. The nurses were pretty blase about the whole thing.

Well, that's my strange experience for the day.

Doing alright, given what time of year it is. At least work fed us dinner (a baked potato bar; though after all of the carbs, I wasn't feeling like working, but kept on going).

I really want it to be sunny for a few days in a row, as we seem to be getting tons of rain (which seems like it may be the new normal of tons of rain in the spring and then almost none in the summer).

We're expecting a couple inches of snow tonite...after raining all day today. We might get some warm weather by Sunday.

Nope, they have been feeding us since the beginning of March (granted, it is only one evening a week, but it is enough to get me to stick around until 9pm or so, which is a long day at work).

So far, the sun is out today. I can hope that it stays out.

Bleah! 9pm is hella late to be working.

Did you get your hope for a sunny day?

Yes, it was pretty sunny. Sadly, I ended up getting a massive headache (unsure if tension or stress) in the afternoon, so I went home early (though will probably do some work here in the evening at home).

Damn that sucks about the headache. Did you get any work done or did you relax for the evening?

I did end up doing about an hour or so of work (and there is still a lot to do >_<;). But at about 9:15, I went and took a long hot shower, took a sleeping pill and called it a night. I do feel a lot better today, but am still a bit tired (but not exhausted and running on fumes).

Sounds like you did the right mix of work and rest...only little longer and it'll be over for this year.
