I wish summer didn't smell of bushfires

There is a distinct smell of smoke in the air tonight. I'm pretty sure it's from the fires on the Sunshine coast, since we've got a north wind blowing, but it's disturbingly strong, for such a distance. I'd like it to go away now, please. (These fires have been burning for a week or so, so I'm sure the locals and attending firies are even *more* of that mind.)

It's far too early in the summer for this.
