yeah, i guess that's it. i personally am not religious, but i respect those who are. i think the reason i appose bush is because i'm not religious, and it actually kind of offends me that he rules with religion. i respect his faith and his morals but i just dont think its fair to inflict them upon all of the american people. however, for those who are christian and share the same views as him i can see how he would be their choice. so yeah, i see what you're saying, i just completely disagree with you ;) but what can i say, i live in seattle and am extremely liberal (yeah i love gay people and i'm pro abortion (though only to a certain extent), hate me all you want!)

but yeah, if this were a christian country he'd be a good leader for us, but since we have a seperation of church and state, it just bothers me how he kind of ignores that. i understand that some people are opposed to gay mariage because they believe that's how god wants it to be, but i just dont like how that's his only reasoning behind why it should not be legal when we are not supposed to be a christian nation. perhaps it's because i know many gay people myself and they are wonderful people.

we were probably just born into different kinds of families in different parts of the country, and that's why we don't agree.
