'It's no fun being the new girl in town.' I stopped and shifted the top of my long flowing skirt slightly, looking down at it and the ground, my hair falling around my face. I knew I looked lost, and goddess, I surely am. 'They told me to meet them back here, right? I thought they did.' Raising my arms from my sides I glanced around as I settled my arms each hand holding on to the opposing elbow. I looked down at the ground again, not really knowing what to do at all. ‘Goddess I’m going to be in trouble if I don’t get home soon.’
"Wonder what I'm supposed to do now." I questioned myself softly, knowing fully that I was pretty lost and since I knew nothing of the town, wondering deeper into places probably wasn't in my best interest. Shifting my gaze upwards I gazed around again, and noticed a girl standing not too far behind me. ‘Maybe she can help?’
I raised one hand in the air, I felt almost like I was raising my hand for a teacher in a class as I tried signaling for her.
“Um, e-excuse me, miss?”
