Relief

May 31, 2007 00:57

This is my word of the day. My last entry was fraught with anxiety and this one is full of relief. My father-in-law got the results of his chest xray. There was no movement in his lungs so it looks like it is not mesothelioma at this time. He has to go back in 6 months for another one, but the prognosis is good. I saw the doctor this week for the results of my two ultrasounds and my news was relatively good. They did find a cyst on one of my ovaries but it looks to be benign. Heavy sigh of RELIEF here. They want me to go back in two months for another ultrasound to see how it is looking. My last pap came through clear as well. If I continue to come through clear every few months I will eventually go back to a regular annual schedule on my paps. My gyno and I again discussed the Nova Sure surgery and we will probably go ahead with it, but I asked her if we could wait until the end of December when my office shuts down for the holidays. That way I probably wouldn't have to take some PTO or vacation time. Hubby is going to get himself into the doctor this week as well, so I'm thankful for that.

As you can see by the time of this post, I still am suffering from insomnia, but my pain and headaches are at a minimum right now which is a good thing.

I have lot's of other things I wish to write about, including news of my new Reiki therapy and my motherless daughters journey but that will have to wait for another day.
