In which I discuss a new acquisition.

This afternoon... has been exceedingly hot and bothersome. I do not... appreciate the weather with its... relentless onslaught... of heat. This morning... I went for a brief constitutional... and found myself... starting blithely at the dog park... near my apartment building. I looked at the fuzzy companions... wistfully. I began to think... about how easily I might... care for such a creature. This afternoon... I telephoned a breeder... about acquiring one of my own. It was decided... that six puppies... would be travelling to my home... in the coming days... and I would be obliged... to choose between them. Therefore, I will soon have a new... friend for myself. Now, it is time... to dogproof this flat.
