Ugh, I'm just not use to this losing. It's been a rough year so far. We're 2-4 after losing today against Austin College on the road in Sherman, TX. I just got back from Dallas about an hour ago. This is twice we've flown to Texas and gotten our butts kicked. Luckily we're through going to Texas, and we've only got Sewannee, and Millsaps left on the road.

We played the top 3 of 4 teams in our first 3 conference games, and played two down to the last second in which they came back and beat us, which sucks. Then this week was supposed to be our first real shot to go out and flat out win one, and we lost 43-17. We just played horrible. I don't know what the coming weeks hold, and I don't want to know what practice will be like on Monday.

College football isn't as glorious as many people think, and it's quite a pain alot of times. It's fun to say I've started a college football game, and it's fun to say I've traveled the country to play games, but it's not so fun personally just going through the grind of practice every week to turn around and get rocked in every major game we play, and if we don't get crushed point wise, our hearts get crushed as we see a lead on a good team go away in the final seconds when we can't come back and change it.

Oh well, I'm not sure about what I want to do next year. Regardless, I'm glad I did it this year, and I might do it next year. Either way, this year isn't over yet, and I still have 4 weeks left. With my staph infection, and my pulled groin, and all of my physical woes, it's been rough on my body, and I just don't know if I'm built to take this kinda of physical-ness this late in my career. Sitting out for 2 years didn't help, and it hurt alot.

Oh well, Go Panthers! (This week after the Homewood/Hoover game on Friday, just stay where you are because BSC is playing at Waldrop Stadium this Saturday vs. Centre College)
