Okay, so here's a really cool game I like:
1. Leave me a casual comment of no particular significance, like a lyric to your current favorite song, your favorite kind of sandwich, or maybe your favorite game. Any remark, meaningless or not.
2. I will respond by asking you five personal questions so I can get to know you better.
3. Update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. Include this explanation and offer to ask someone else in your own post.
5. When others respond with a desultory comment, you will ask them five questions.
Here are my questions, thus far:
1) Who is the "silver girl" you write about so often? (Be as vague as you need to be, I realize I don't know you and this could be a personal question, but I like your poems for her and it sparked my curiosity.)
A) The silver girl is, as cliche as it sounds, a girl who broke my heart. I'm not sure if she reads my journal, so I won't divulge her full name, but I will give some back story. I feel head over heels for her when I met her, and we passed some time mutually enamored by each other, but it all came crashing down abruptly. She has since become elusive and incredibly secretive, never revealing how she feels towards me. But i am still captured by her eyes.
2) If you could go back in time to live in any era in history, which would you go back to?
A) Probably the 17th or 18th century. Back then, poets were actually given the respect they deserve. Nowadays, television has killed the literary star.
3) What do you consider to be your biggest vise?
A) Without a doubt, it'd be cigarettes. I spend way too much money on them and smoke way too many. I'll probably die of lung cancer.
4) What do you consider to be your biggest accomplishment?
A)As soon as the first issue of TioB (an arts and culture magazine me and my friends are starting. go to www.myspace.com/mrelectricocean for more info) finally comes out, that'll definately take the crown. For now, I think it'd be the fact that I've actually stuck with writing for as long as I have. I have terrible ADD with most of my hobbies, but poetry has somehow grown into an infatuation, and I couldn't be happier that I'm making it my life.
5) If you could meet one celebrity (from either the past or the present) who would it be?
A) I don't know if he counts as a celebrity per say, But Charles Bukwoski. I just want to share a drink with him and hear his thoughts on life, maybe trade stories of debauchery.
Play with me!
