Lilith looked at the skyline of the city from her vantage point on the two-lane highway and smiled. After days of walking through the desert, she had finally reached her destination. Of course she could have simply arrived there in the blink of an eye just by willing herself there, but there was something soothing and meditative about a long journey on foot. It had been centuries since the last time she had done it, and now that she had arrived, she was ready to get down to business. After all, the wickedness and vice weren't going to spread themselves.
