Anybody who hits a woman in my opinion is a vile worthless sack of shit who needs to be dragged into the street and shot. Anybody who has the balls to do something of the caliber in public should have their fucking head examined. I was sitting in the parking lot at a friend of mine's job waiting for him to get off work when this Geo Metro comes barrelling in and parks towards the back of the lot, guy driving with a girl in the car. Since it is a retail store and it was about 5 i figured some kid was getting dropped off to work by his girlfriend beating on her car. I happened to look back there, Ok i'm nosey so sue me, and I see them arguing. Now it's getting interesting cool. Maybe they'll walk out this way and I'll be able to hear what they're saying. Now he grabs her by the shoulders like he's trying to get a point across but she gets shorter and shorter and now she's on the ground. WTF!!!! I was completely astonished that anyone in this day and age would have the audacity to do something like that in public. The last rational thought that crossed my mind was, "Don't get arrested," I don't know if my friends boss is there, I don't know how old the kid is, and I don't know if the girl would testify against the guy if i beat him into a wet spot on the ground. But there's no way in hell that this assknocker is gonna lay another finger on her. So I get out and walk over there my heart beating faster nothing registering in my mind and almost drawing a complete blank. So i say to the kind "Don't you lay another hand on her." His response was something along the lines of "Just go away man." And I stood there waiting for a reason to beat this kid into next week, I wanted it mroe than anything. All i needed was for him to do something to her grab her armraise his hand anything, in my altered state of mind i neglected the real issue, the poor girl. Sitting there crying she reached for her last comfort in the world, a box of newports and I didn't have the sense to ask her if i could give her a ride home. She walked towards the highway and he followed and I stood there with my blood boiling wanting nothing more than to kill that scumbag. The quest for justice often leads to overlooking the victims. I know that you'll never read this but if for some reason you ever do please know that I am sorry.
