I can't wait till May 24th. I will be finished with my freshman year if college. And that will be such a good thing. And not only is it the last day of classes, but I will be seeing The Killers in concert, and many of my favorite people will be there. Including my bestest pal Nicole who I have not seen since Christmas. It will be awesome.

Two more days, then finals week. Just two more days and a week of finals. Then it will be May Term. May Term will be cake.

To Do List:
-Read many, many Biology chapters
-Study for Biology quiz on Friday
-Study for Biology final
-Read Death of a Salesman. Again.
-Make study guide questions for Lit.
-Write a response paper to Death of a Salesman
-Put together Lit writing portfolio
-Study for Lit final
-Read 12 articles for US Politics
-Study for US politics final
-Write journal entries for US Politics
-Finish my final paper for FLA (I never want to hear about the Pentagon Papers or national security ever again)
-Put together writing portfolio for FLA

Well. That sounds like fun.

I can't wait for May Term. I am taking Genre Film. That will be sweet.

Emily got the fourth season of QAF on DVD. It came with two sets of special QAF magnetic poetry. We bought a pizza pan to hang on our wall and display our poetry. Brilliant. It is hanging over the massive box of candy bars that Sarah's mom bought for us.

Campus Sing was the other night. It is basically a musical number competition between the all the fraternities and sororities. The Sigs won. Of course. Gotta love those nerds. They always win everything. The Phi Taus (the jocks) and the KAs (the red-necks) both sucked. The Pikes (the drunkards) didn't even try. The jocks sang some stupid pop song over one guy playing guitar, then proceeded to have the one black guy rap for a while when they realized that their performance sucked. The KAs did pretty much the same thing, but instead of rapping to try and save their asses, they did some of their frat chants. Which are old confederate army chants. I think Comfort said it best with "If they are trying to get more diversity on campus, I don't think this is the way to do it. Typically I don't go places where I fear I might get lynched."

The Sigs were brilliant. The title of their performance was "Heir to the Throne: Two Kings, a Queen, and a Prince." Jack introduced it wearing a madrigals costume while Steve Pratt, John Kromer, and some other kid played a fanfare on trombones. Then they did a very West Side Story dance number to Michael Jackson's "Beat It."Next they proclaimed their love to every girl on campus with Elvis' "Fools Rush In" which they sang over three of their members playing drums, guitar, and keyboards. The Queen was, of course, and enchanting rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody that included interpretive dance. Lastly, one of the guys rapped the theme to "Fresh Prince." You would be surprised to know how many nerdy white guys can break-dance.

So of course, the Sigs won. Go nerds. They really will take over the world some day.

I am cold and wet. You would think we would know better than to walk to Starbucks without an umbrella when it is that dark outside. Alas. We hadn't had the caffeine yet. How were we supposed to think logically?
