my "The Mind of God" book that i just bought is fascinating. really. sometimes things take a second read to understand, especially when mrs. reynen does her talky talky and ruins my concentration. but, there was a part about existentialism and how it is possible that as humans have not evolutionized (is that a word?) to a very high level yet that there are still some things in life that we should be able to rationalize and know for certain, but we don't. For instance, he predicts that in the future, everything can be predicted from the present time. If we have a full understanding of atoms and gravity and the effects of physics on surrounding objects, we can predict seemingly unpredictable things such as a coin toss. We will be able to predict the reactions of the particles to the tossing of the coin so exactly that there will be no such thing as "unpredictable". Even though this is far fetched, it certainly was interesting, and worth sharing, i thought. but then again, i thought i heart huckabees was the best movie ever made, next to garden state. and that's partially about hitting eachother in the face with a big rubber ball. and i thought that was genius. eh. bygons (bygones?).
taste of chaos-orlando is sold out. i think i might cry.
pompano it is! maybe.
now that we're not going to see Spunk! i guess it's naptime.
naptime and ramen noodles.
and the o.c.
and i figured out my dvd-recorder for NOTHING. ok ok, so now i'll be able to tape gilmore girls, but still. NOTHING!
....bye.
