It's so, so frustrating and really, really sad when you're in a fandom with seemingly only a small (international English speaking) fan base active on the relevant western social media sites.
There're literally only a handful of Hua Chenyu related fan accounts on Twitter (Tumblr is dying anyway so there have hardly been any active accounts in recent years), one of which only posts in Chinese and another one only in Thai, so you have to rely on inaccurate translations via Google Translate.
To think that without those handful of accounts on Twitter and YouTube you wouldn't even get basic information, no news at all, no English translations at all. And even with these handful of people you will never ever get all the details, all the goodies, you get for stuff with a big(ger) international English speaking following such as CQL, SHL or some Thai BLs.
Gods, I'm so grateful that at least these handful of accounts exist but I can only imagine what it would be like if it was similar to bigger fandoms.
