I have a date to prom and a dress...and a group of friends that's amazing and we're going to have an awesome time, I can't wait. Erin, Amy, Meredith and Stine are leaving soon though, for Europe. I must admit, I'm gonna miss them a lot over vacation...at least Lindsay will still be here though =D.
RIT was amazing. I formed THE Cult with the 6 most amazing girls ever, hopefully we'll all end up near each other in the Engineering House...but as for me, I think I'm the only undecided in that group. I'll make a little (+) (-) thing...maybe that'll help...
(+) Biomedical option.
(-) 5-year program
(+) 5 year program + one year of work experience + guaranteed job after graduation.
(+) graduate with my Masters in Engineering.
(-) quarter-classes, meaning breaks are all messed up.
(-) biomed students have to take summer classes.
(+) working during the year = time out of classroom, more valuable employee.
(-) 5 years of school.
(-) the incredible amounts of work to do.
(-) hectic schedule which results in only ONE free elective all 5 years.
(-) 3 calculus classes.
(-) 2 physics classes.
(-) anatomy and physiology. again.
(-/+) testing out of 2 social studies classes and a writing class if I pass my AP exams. *the (-) is if in fact I don't do well, then I have to take them... *
(+) location of the school.
(+) already knowing 6 awesome girls that I actually get along with.
(+) meeting a lot of nice, good looking boys.
(+) being able to live in the EH.
(-) commitment..both academically and socially.
(-) i'm kind of afraid I wont get to enjoy the "college experience" with the tremendous amounts of work.
(-) being away from the few people I love<3
(-) ... not knowing what to expect really.
(+) knowing upperclassmen.
(+) becoming really good friends with a couple RA's.
(+) being on a name-basis with the SWE director.
(+) tons of engineering clubs to join (as well as many others)
(-) I still haven't gotten my financial aid. (damn financial aid counselor...dumbass)
(-) cold.
(+) 4 seasons.
