I spent all of yesterday, save the time during which I conversed with various temporary citizens, considering the evidence before me, and I can come to only one conclusion:

Kitty has left the City.

To believe otherwise is to accept that she left the flat yesterday morning without making any sort of sound whatsoever, without her coat or shoes, and without leaving a note.

You are as aware as I am that such a thing seems entirely unlikely.
