Well, its been some time since I last updated, so I thought I'd give it a go.

Christmas break has come and gone: I was really glad for the two weeks off from school. Two weeks without any major responsibilities or tasks is exactly what I needed. I got some pretty neat stuff for Christmas. First and foremost, an MP3 player, capable of holding up to 1000 hours of music. I've uploaded upwards of 60 albums, and its still far from full. Very cool. I also got a few movies, the Kids in the Hall Season II on DVD, a shirt, socks, chocolate, hiking shoes, a CAA membership, guitar stuff, etc.

Sarah and I went and hung out at Kyle's on New Year's Eve. Had a good time; watched some movies, played some Mario Kart, had some pizza. Unfortunately, we had to be back to my house by one, which sort of cut the evening short, but what can you do?

I was supposed to go see Megadeth on November 16th with my brother and Mark, but my brother had to work that day because of a shift change. Therefore, my mom would not let me go, which was a huge bummer, considering I already had tickets. My other brother and I talked to her, and convinced her that letting me go with just Mark was ok; she was worried about drugs and violence and stuff, which is understandable; you can never be sure about that sort of stuff. We finally convince her to let me go. I call Mark, and he informs me his mom can't drive us. So I didn't end up going, which really sucked. I really wanted to see Megadeth.

It's not too too bad, since I did get to see Metallica October 6th. Fucking incredible show. We had pretty good seats, with a good view of the stage. The stage rotated after each song, so all sides could be seen clearly. It was absolutely amazing. The band was at the top of their game, and they played a killer set. It was a night I'll never forget.

What else is new?

Well, school is going better than it was; my calculus mark is up a few percent, which is good. I'm sitting at a 65% I think, which isn't very good, but its a damn hard course, for me anyway. English is up, both Histories are up, so that's good.

It turns out that one of the girls who works at the library never got a Social Insurance Number, so she can't work for a while, until she gets one. Which in turn means I work three days a week, which isn't too bad; I could use the extra money.

Another major event took place December 8, 2004. 'Dimebag' Darrell Abbott was shot and killed while onstage, thirty seconds or so into Damageplan's set. Granted, I only have one Pantera album and haven't heard any of Damageplan, but Dime was a very influential and very powerful figure in the metal guitar world. He will be missed by fans, friends, and family. May he Rest In Peace.

The next few weeks are getting hectic; I have a lot of schoolwork to do, and not a lot of will to do it. It will get done, though, I'm sure. I just have to remember that in a month, it will all be over: no more English, no more History, and best of all, no more damn calculus! I just gotta struggle through the next three weeks, and I'll be golden.

Wow, that ended up much longer than I planned. I should wrap this one up.
