so what about that defiant afternoon gloom...
I've been busy the last little while. Monday my parents and I went shopping at IKEA. I got a duvet cover and sheets, and a lamp for my room in residence. Buying stuff made me excited to move in there, lol. I'm moving in on the 27th, and I'm staying the whole week for the freshman stuff. It should be really fun, I just hope Neon is going or it will be much less fun in the beginning, until I get to know some people. We're going to Wonderland, the zoo, a concert, doing some yoga, etc... sounds exciting! At least all the activities will take my mind off of not living at home.
Tuesday mom, my brother and I went into Toronto. When we got there I was ready to leave - just getting there was an event in itself! It took sooo long. The YRT was late, then we had an hour bus ride to Finch, aaaand and hour subway ride to wherever we got off on Yonge St. It was a lovely day- not too hot or cold, so that was good :) We walked around, my brother bought some pointless junk, we went into the Eaton Centre for a bit where I went to AE and bought a cute li'l tote. Raspberry and polkadots, oh yes... :)
I got a new CD at Sam's... Umbrellas. They totally rock my socks :)Last night I watched GOF for the 2nd time. such a goooooood movie! I didn't cry at the Cedric part this time, although I almost did at the part with Neville and the spider. poor spider... poor Neville :(
