For those of us on facebook, I found some support. Although I found it slightly hilarious that when I searched for "pansexual" I myself was the second entry to come up. So if you are interested in joining the groups:
I am going to try to post links, but I'm not sure if they will work when the only way I can get to the pages is from my own profile. There are 3 of them. In case the links don't work I'll list the names of all of them, so they should be easy to find by searching.
I am Pansexual

http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=20254891714 Also, the Northeast LGBTC Conference is happening in Albany, NY the weekend of April 17th-19th. I plan on attending the training session "Welcoming Diversity, and NCBI Training Workshop" described as "The National Coalition Building Institute is an international, non-profit, leadership training organization based in Washington, DC, USA. Since 1984, NCBI has worked to eliminate racism and all other forms of prejudice and discrimination throughout the world. This workshop will show how we have been taught to think and act as members of racial, gender, and other identity groups. Through interactive activities and workshops we will learn to find the strength in multiple identities and provide skills for bridging differences within our own LGBTQA community."
I also plan to attend many of the panel discussions, but in this training workshop in specific I would like to bring up the fact that I am a self-identified pansexual, and there are thousands of us, including at least three that I know in my one dorm building on my quad alone.
If anyone is interested in attending the conference, just go to their website and register, at
http://www.nelgbtc.com/There is a $25 registration fee however, but if you really want to go and can contact me soon enough I may be able to get you a confirmation number which will waive the fee.
Hope to see some of us out there :)
Much love everyone
