it sees you when your sleeping
it even sees into your nightmares
it know your fears
it hides just out of sight
in the shadows
in your closet and under your bed
it sits in your kitchen waiting for you to go get a snack
its in your bathroom hiding behind the shower curtain
it folows you everywere you go
just waiting to pounce
its behind your stairs and behind the couch
it waits for you gard to go down
and when your not looking it creeps closer
no eyes it follows the pulse of your quickend heart
your heart pounds faster as it draws near
no more hiding its ready to strike
you turn around and are paralysed with fear
it is truly the shadows themselves
a pure sea of blackness devoures you
you quickly jolt upright in your bed
drenched in sweat you turn on the light
you calm down and tell yourself its just a dream

the moon and the stars disapear
all light is blocked out
all thats seen is the beasts teeth
