the beautiful pain drowns me once again
so familiar the smell
i accept it without a thought
its far better than the toil u have caused me
though your mindless games that disintegrate my soul little by little
the fake halo u wear is coming lose
it slowly takes hold of your neck
grips tightly and rips u from your cloud
and u r just left hanging
just like i am left now hanging onto the memories of u
no saviour will appear this time
u turned me into a lifeless puppet
who danced upon your every command
i have learned and will not walk that way again
i choose not to care anymore
because here im left with something i know i can always rely upon
and that is my sadness
im always guaranteed that and i take some sort of pride in it
for it is a part of just as my heart once was
i hope u never return
