Well this was an interesting Thursday, and oddly the best one I've had in a long time.

Dropped off the take-home exams for today and I went to my appointment at NSCAD. Mr. Bryan Macycock felt that I wasn't ready to take a class because he was concerned about my level of skill (admitedly it's pretty damn low hahaha). But he was very nice about it, because he didn't want me stressing out when I wasn't really ready for it. So we talked about drawing for a bit, and he gave me some advice, and was very encouraging. Thanks to the talk, I'm going to buy an art book, practice practice practice, take a continuing education class in the summer (hopefully I'll have the money) and we'll see where it goes from there. He even told me he would critique my drawings in the meantime, to give me some guidence and tips. So it was nice to be humbled in a manner that wasn't mean; someone in a university actually didn't want my money because he didn't want me to do badly, which was a nice change. This isn't some fad of mine. Even just by drawing some light pictures in the last few days, I can feel the desire growing in me to learn how to draw. So here's to me indulging in a side of me that's been neglected for a while.

The rest of the day constiuted hanging with the Random Play buddies for a bit, spending the better part of the afternoon painting banners for the Day of Action with all the CFS related friends, and hanging at my friend Kayleighs house with Danielle, and Kayleighs roomie, eating spagetting, talking shit about douchebags, and all that jazz.

I didn't really get much school work done today, but it was nice to still be productive and hang with good folks, and come home not feeling completely exhausted. Wooooooo!
