Working For The Weekend
Well, after 3 years of waiting I finally saw Metric on Friday, which was such a great show I can't think of the right words to describe it. I got to see them with Kat and Nicole which made it all the more special. No hoodies to buy, but I did pick up a nifty t-shirt. Sadly, I didn't hit on any moms....because there weren't any there! haha probably a good thing.
Pretty regular work day on Saturday, kinda slow in some parts too. We were supposed to have a staff meeting this week, but it's not going to happen this week. I'm kind of glad, because I'm not really in the mood for anything serious at work. After work was nice and lazy, sitting around in the pj's without a care in the world.
Oh yeah, my Uncle from Toronto is down on a business trip and we went out for lunch yesterday. He paid for my lunch (haha I chose A&W) and a new book, but he also referred to Reflections as "that fag bar" and argued with the cashier at the bookstore for 10 minutes about the price of another book he was buying. I felt shitty, because he's my uncle and bought me stuff, but I wouldn't tell him when he was being an asshole. I hardly see him anymore, and I just didn't want to fight. But I wasn't impressed with that.
Anywho, I think I shall get some reading done today since I have a lot to do. Catch you kids later!
