Well here we are. It's the last official night of "freedom". The first day of classes start tomorrow, and it's Language and Politics followed by Human Rights:Theory and Practice. Call me a geek, but I'm looking forward to those classes, since they're both taught by Prof. MacMillan, and I really enjoy his classes. Plus the subjects are really interesting and the book for the Language&Politics class is quite good so far. After all the classes are done I'll be hangin' with Kat and Nicole and it'll be a nice chill evening.
Between classes however, it's yet another good-bye time with my dear friend Lauren. She's moving to Japan on Tuesday to work. I'm really excited for her, but I'm going to miss her a lot. She's always been a great friend and I'll miss seeing her.
Time left for Montreal on Monday morning, and Chris went back to Calgary this morning. Chris, Neill and I all hung out last night, got kind of drunk, smoked a cigar and had a great time. But Thursday is my friend Ryan's last shift at Sams...He was the first friend I made there, and he's a funny, awesome guy. I'm going to miss him too. Lindsay will be leaving Sams soon as well, and of course I'm going to miss her. I think she'll be back at somepoint though. It's weird having friends move away or return to their "home". I'm thankful for the amazing friends I have here, but it's still kind of heartbreaking to see people go.
Lastly, the girl Jana that we all met the other week when we went out drinking called me back tonight. She had actually lost my number, then found out it in a pile of clothes. We talked for a bit, made plans to meet for a few drinks after work on Friday. I think her roomie is going to come too, but Jana said who knows what'll actually happen. I'm used to that hahaha...But I was actually kind of surprised she called back, I thought she might've just thought I was weird or something (I did call her coming off an acid trip hahaha). But it was nice to get a call, and have a chat on this last night of freedom.
Here's where we get down to business folks. Fun is still constitutionally mandated to take place as often as time allows (which should be frequently).
