my ipod is still alive! : )
so i had a close call with my ipod today...
i was on the bus home from work and tried to turn it on, but i got the picture of an apple, so i was like "oh, it must have just run out of battery", but when i got home, i plugged it in and the apple didn't go away. i tried restarting, but it only gave me a folder with an exclamation mark, so i spent about 30 minutes on the apple website trying to figure out what was wrong with it...i even started looking at ipod nanos and such thinking i might have to get a new one... but i FINALLY got it to work by updating it... i don't know wtf.. i'm just glad it's still okay for now. it would sort of suck to have to use my next paycheck to pay for a new one.
anyway, can i just say i HATE working on sunday. people are so fuckin grumpy and rude, and tips suck. hopefully i end up getting no more weekend shifts when new people are hired. i think there are three interviews going on tomorrow. so, if anyone (preferably someone nice and not lazy) is interested at working at tully's flagship (the really big one downtown on 4th and union) we are totally understaffed right now. it's a really fun job when you don't have a sunday shift :)
