as mentioned earlier, i'm quite upset about this toll of 2,000.
it's really shitty. i mean HOW MANY PEOPLE HAVE TO DIE??? it's ridiculous. it's so upsetting. not only 2,000 US soldiers - but thousands and thousands of iraqi civilians. children! innocent children! for what? to take down a man we put in power. to give democracy to a place that should never have been a country in the first place???? and NO. that's not a racist remark. it was teh dmaned british colonist who forced three different societies together and came up with the name Iraq. (a similar thing was done to iran). like wtf. you know - don't be surprised if in teh end another dictator rises up out of all of this. or a civil war.
then more death. and for what?
was it worth it?
was it even honestly worth it?
i guess for the bush families pockets it was.
and for those of you who are comparing numbers to wwi and wwii about how the fatalities were much more there - you're a dumb ass. that was a larger scale war and less technology and so many other factors come into play where you can not compare the death toll and say that 2,000 is no big deal. to me 1 is a big deal.
and you know, i know about 400 or something were 'friendly fire.' but you know, those are still people that can't come back to their family. 'accident' or not. they were sent there and they died. there's no welcome home for them. also, the media seems to always fail to mention how many soldiers COMMITED SUICIDE!!! yes, my dears, it does happen. in small numbers - but still the point is it happens. it's shit.

everyone on the left - you all need to get your shit together - that's why you don't get anywhere.
you don't organize good. and when you do you bring up unrelated issues. always.
oh and not to mention how all you little elft groups can't seem to get along to fight for a common cause unless everyone is just like you. example: it's been brought to my attention that some anarchists and socialist are not getting along. this is because socialists think things should be done one way... their way (and they are pushy bastards i won't lie) and of course anarchist want it done their way. you know what? for right now - if you want to seriously try and stop the war - COMPROMISE!!!! you cna't do anything if you're fighting each other. you look like assholes. and make everyone else in the anti-war movement look like assholes. and that doesn't apply to only teh anarchist and socialists but all the other groups who are having troubles forming coalitions.
and also. ok. good i'm glad everyone is having rallies here and there still. oct 29 rally in boston. and there's gonna be a mini-one on nov 2 in boston, well everyone from different schools are supposed to end up there as it is the walk out day.
no offense. walking out of school... taking the t.. going to boston commons for a littel anti-war day fo fun isn't going to get you ANYWHERE!
