spring break

*Sigh*  This was a good spring break.  I'm a lucky girl.  Spinach broccoli quiche, mushroom barley soup, buttermilk pancakes with fresh berries, bamboo, silk embroidery, shoes, movies, CSI, reading, snuggling, talking, sleeping, listening to newly released awesome albums, cleaning, giggling with my mom, seeing my brother, driving with the windows down.... so good.

Played ultimate frisbee with the ES boys tonight.  Twas fun.  I love Deering Field.  Got my foot stepped on, and it hurt, but I tried to be macho and didn't say anything.  Got home and washed the mud off to find a HUGE purple bruise.... haha, of course.  And if I had complained about it, it probably would have been nothing.  Luckily, it's on a awkward part of my foot that doesn't really touch anything anyway.  I love ultimate, and thus love spring because it's ultimate season.  I just need to practice catching a little more, cuz I sure am rusty.  Wow.

First day of classes tomorrow.  And let me just be the first one to say how scared I am.  I've never been scared of a quarter before, but I sure am of this one.  I'm taking Linear Algebra II, one of the hardest classes that math majors have to take.  It kicked my friend's butt (and he's smart!) so I'm worried.

But I'm mostly worried about the one thing I actually know and lived: Spanish.  It's a reading and writing course, meaning I'm in trouble, cuz I speak village slang Spanish, not text book 'vosotros en Espana' Spanish.  *Sigh*  He already wants us to review stuff, but to tell the truth, I have NO idea what the things even were!  Tomorrow I'm gonna go in and tell him my situation.  See, I haven't been in a classroom setting in 4 years, but I placed into this class from a test.  So they said I'd be ok, but I wonder, how ok will I really be?  Will I be able to know when to use subjunctive properly? I don't know.  Yowza.

Intro to Improv in dance will be fun.  I'm waitlisted at #5 for pilates, so I'll hopefully get in!  And my Music in Multimedia class should be fun, I hope.  First music class at NU in a while.  I miss it.  For crying out loud, it's my minor.  Haha.

Been thinking a lot lately about careers and life after college (blame B for this).  Almost feel a bit paralyzed for it.  That's a lot to think about, when right now I have trouble just getting into the classes I want/need.

9:30 start tomorrow so I should get to bed.  Wow, it's 1:20.  Oops.
