Oh boy... for once I have so much to say, but it's all kinda dammed up in my head right now,
so this might not come out right.

For starters, I've been keeping to drumming for other dance classes.  Last night there was this drum beat that was so hot I wanted to force the whole world to listen to it because it just might make everything better.  Ugh, ( Read more... )

when the PC people told me that my background would potentially put me in a math teaching appointment rather than business advising, I was a bit taken aback, I mean, it's intimidating. Being responsible for the education of so many children in any subject can bring on a lot of self-doubt and fear, no matter what your background is... all I can say is: be strong in your knowledge of yourself and your education. Not that you need the encouragement, since you've done all of this by yourself to this point, but here goes anyway.
You CAN and will do this, and you will excel at it because you're caring and very smart and hard-working (part of that overall wonderfull-ness that we all know and love). We all trip-up along the road of life, but mistakes are not meant to be avoided by fear, they are to be embraced... for learning from them and being humbled by them is how we grow. If anything your fear is a great thing, and an indication of your true character, because it shows that you genuinely care about, and take pride in your work and the little lives that you will be changing. Those two months that you spend with those kids could very well be some of the best two months of their (and your) lives. I'm so proud of the work you're doing and proud just to know you.
These posts make me so very happy!
good luck,
be well,
stay strong,
love
