Amazingness!
Tonight I was FINALLY able to see Butterfly Boucher perform live. I've been listening to her music for at least 4 years and it was so good to finally see her live. Went to the Troubadour with Christine for the Ten out of Tenn tour. Though the all of the singers usually perform on their own, this tour was designed so all of them participated in eachother's songs, either as backup singers, on keys, bass, or guitar. The drummer was the only one who didn't sing. Butterfly was amazing and I was really impressed by the talent of the other performers. At the end, all of the performers grabbed an instrument (acoustic guitar, harmonica, shakers, whatever) and came down into the middle of the audience for an audience participation song. It was awesome. I bought everyone's CD, including Butterfly's yet-to-be released latest album (which is also AMAZING)
I can't wait for her to come back to LA again =]
