But all he had come for was havin' some fun!
Okay, now I'm gonna write about Sunday, June 26th. After I got to the Calhoun Hall dorms at Drexel University and signed in, I met my roommate Jannel (spelling...?). She was nice ^_^. Then mom left after orientation... and I was on my own (without any family), away from home, for the first time.
Yeah I know, I'm a sheltered child.
Anyways, I met Brittany and Suzi on the way up to the third floor (my floor). From there I met Ashley and Sarah. And due to Brittany's love for mingling, we met Justin outside. ^__^
After an alright dinner (I don't remember exactly what it was...) we went back to the dorms and then got picked up by the busses. We went to this "Rock and Bowl" thingy. (Every night there was a chaperoned activity.) It was SOOOOOOOO much fun. They definitely played "Cotton-Eyed Joe" (hence the title and first four lines of the entry XD). OMG. As soon as the song came on Sarah started dancing right by the bowling lanes. I mean she throws the ball, turns around, and starts dancing. It was beautiful. ^_^ Of course everyone on our side joins in. And it was all good. ^_^ I honestly believe that our group had the most fun.
'Cause we're awesome like that.
(Those stupid skanker bankers could talk about us all they want... at least we weren't just standing there. XD)
Okay, now for Monday, June 27th.
Classes started... and of course we had to do life drawing from 9-12 and them from 1-4. Ew. I totally sucked at life drawing. Well, some were so-so... but, egh. Whatever.
On Monday it rained all day, so we couldn't see Rocky (the movie). I was supposed to be some sort of outdoors thingy. So we went shopping at Aquazone (which was huge) instead. Score! I got a halter top from H&M.
It's my first one.
I know, I'm slow with this stuff.
But now I need a strapless. I hate mine. >.<
Oh yeah, I saw a man made of plastic in H&M too... but he was alive. Heh.
Anyways, Brittany and I tried on a bunch of shirts at Charlotte Russe... but none of mine fit. >.< We (Justin, Brittany, and I) walked around a bunch as well. And Justin was his sassy self, which made EVERYTHING fun. ^_^
Oh yeah, Justin got a discount on his food 'cause he pretended that he worked at Hot Topic... a store that wasn't even at that mall.... I must try that some time. XD
