update
So, Saturday was the Men's Wearhouse Michigan Holiday Party. I took Mattie, obviously. It was pretty boring. There was a highlight though, My store won Top Performer in Michigan. It's all me baby. Fo sho.
In other news, I finally got to try my hand at making the pie I've wanted to make for a while. It's a chocolate orange-cream pie. The test was good, I just have to make sure to use a meringue next time instead of whipped cream so that the pie maintains its shape better and to use a real pie crust next time so that it's easier to cut. Other than that the only problem with it was that it was too sweet (which the meringue should help with as well). So once I fix that I think I have a winner on my hands.
Umm, I think I'm losing drive again. I'm just sleeping all the time. I was able to finish a paper today and apply for the teaching college, but that's about it besides going to class. I even thought about arranging a class of 07 choir reunion, but was too lazy to bother reaching anyone. Seems to be a trend.
My checks came in the mail today. Batman. Sweet. He will make sure my funds go to help a just cause; I'm sure of it. My money won't line the pockets of greedy East Lansing landowners if the dark knight and boy wonder have anything to do with it.
