die, coulter.  DIE!

Seeing as they were making (4) people's flists long and ugly, I figured I should start putting the long ones under lj cuts.  So there ya go.

you didn't have to do it but
you did it to say that
you didn't have to do it but
you would anyway

Somehow, that verse seems so -Naruto-.  Meh.

and you ask me what i want this year
and i try to make this kind and clear
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days
'cause i don't need boxes wrapped in strings
and desire and love and empty things
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days

so take these words
and sing out loud
'cause everyone is forgiven now
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again

and it's someplace simple where we could live
and something only you can give
and that's faith and trust and peace while we're alive
and the one poor child that saved this world
and there's 10 million more who probably could
if we all just stopped and said a prayer for them

so take these words
and sing out loud
'cause everyone is forgiven now
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again

i wish everyone was loved tonight
and somehow stopped this endless fight
just a chance that maybe we'll find better days

so take these words
and sing out loud
'cause everyone is forgiven now
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again
'cause tonight's the night the world begins again

how 'bout getting off of these antibiotics?
how 'bout stopping eating when I'm full up?
how 'bout them transparent dangling carrots?
how 'bout that ever elusive kudo?

thank you India
thank you terror
thank you disillusionment
thank you frailty
thank you consequence
thank you, thank you silence

how 'bout me not blaming you for everything?
how 'bout me enjoying the moment for once?
how 'bout how good it feels to finally forgive you?
how 'bout grieving it all one at a time?

thank you India
thank you terror
thank you disillusionment
thank you frailty
thank you consequence
thank you, thank you silence

the moment i let go of it was
the moment i got more than i could handle
the moment i jumped off of it was
the moment i touched down

how 'bout no longer being masochistic?
how 'bout remembering your divinity?
how 'bout unabashedly bawling your eyes out?
how 'bout not equating death with stopping?

thank you India
thank you Providence
thank you disillusionment
thank you nothingness
thank you clarity
thank you, thank you silence

the flame-like rays of sunset shine upon your back
and my hands grow cold when i cannot reach you
i scoop up and scatter the fragments of sand at my feet
and i can't even recover the smile that used to connect the two of us

sorrow is eating away at my heart
but my right hand can't even feel the pain
i can't forget your warmth, which i lost that day
and into these hands it shows that you have surely
left an impression on me

in order to keep this promise, to cast aside regret
i will board this train running
if we can gain happiness, then it doesn't matter the suffering
if we face things together, we can get anything, right?

like a spiral spinning into infinity, i will walk
down this road, though i can't escape
knowing the truth of my own sins, i tremble
but i'll show you i can change that suffering into strength
no matter where i'm going

sorrow is eating away at my heart
but my right hand can't even feel the pain
i can't forget your warmth, which i lost that day
and into these hands it shows that you have surely
left an impression on me

the shining world overflows in my hands
embracing the limitless time
i move forward

the wind blows from far away
i'm looking up at the drifting clouds
i can't turn back

despite the warmth in my memories
my heart that seems to lose to anxiety
but i'll cast them off and walk again

the truth is, while i was perplexed
i kept on searching for something
because the daybreak
is bound to come

the voice that i hear somewhere
is distant, like a guidepost
my echoing heartbeats are waking
and seeking

i'll keep on waiting for the tomorrow still unseen
the cold wind and such
can't stop me

the shining world overflows in my hands
embracing the limitless time
i move forward

the changing times pass by
the sound of the wind in new-born towns--
even if i listen closely, i can't hear it

it's sleeping in anyone's chest
without erasing the flames of passion
i'll walk until they burn out

the truth is, while i was lost
i kept on losing something
but i definitely believed
in the daybreak

even if the place that i end up at
is different from what i sought
i'll start over again from the beginning
until i can grasp it

i raise my hands, and only the faint light
that spills over them
is the place that we aim to

i'll keep on waiting for the tomorrow still unseen
the cold wind and such
can't stop me

the shining world overflows in my hands
embracing the limitless time
i move forward

i raise my hands, and only the faint light
that spills over them
is the place that we aim to

i'll spread my hands and catch it ...

And no, I did not get up before noon yesterday.  =___=
