(no subject)
Ok, so these past couple days I've been fairly happy with the route my life is taking. Devon and I broke up...for real this time. But we are on good terms and I still love him very much and he still loves me very much but I think the best thing right now is for us to do our own things so maybe in the future we can come back together again. I'm not going to worry about the course my future will take. Everything is in God's hands. En-t-way...I was invited to yet ANOTHER lingerie party! I think people just wanna see me in my pantiess! Saturday was fun though, I must say. Me and my ladies def showed out and I really just ended up having a fabulous time.
Today was a pretty good day. I woke up late (on accident ;-\), went to the National Press Club for a luncheon hornoring the new slave museum thats going up in Virginia soon. It was nice to be around all these successful black people in high places. It felt good. After the luncheon I had a work out date with S-dizzle and that felt great! Its kinda random, but all these guys have been complimenting me as of like 2 days ago lol I dont know what Im doing differently, but a lot of people have told me I'm pretty and/or complimented me on my hair and it feels sooo good to be complimented like that, let me just say. haha Im extremely excited for Miami, and this month is already going by so quickly. Before I know it I'll be sittin on South Beach sippin on something very tasty and very alcoholic while looking ohhh sooo fly! Its going to be great.
Right now I desperately need to study for a blacks in the arts test I have tomorrow as it is nerly 1 am and I have yet to crack open my notes. Wish me luck!
