A little World of Candy Floss

I'm so glad I can come back with a nice happy bouncy update after the recent blip. Lots of nice happy things now.

I saw Ellechan yesterday!! -^_^- Y'see Oliver bought a car from Ebay and its location - Nottingham! I saw the possibilities immediately of course. So I went up to see Elle briefly and then Kept Oliver company on the way down. To be fair he bid on a car in York too, and if he'd won that Iit would have been York not Nottingham but it wasn't to be! I took the train from Battle At 946 (I was up since 7 getting ready n'all Yay for showers, even if our one if compete rubbish ^^) and got to London Bridge, took the tube to KC St Pancras and then Wootage, Fast Train to Nottingham which arrived at 1.36. The Midland train was really nice! It had a restaurant and even Cat's eyes going up the aisle! Hee hee. Well ...

When we got to the station Ellechan was the only person on the platform (Or maybe I just wasn't seeing anyone else) and I could see her bouncing around looking for someone and she almost walked into a pillar, (which was such an Ellechan thing to do it made my heart happy ^^) as she saw me. Seeing Ellechan alive and well and happy to see me, managed to get rid of lots of the bad karma from the nightmare I had a couple of nights ago, which really helped my bounciness lots. Although ... Gah. Isn't the buzz you get from seeing someone you care about after a long time wonderful? ... Yes. A week and a half ... More like a fortnight really ... is a VERY long time. Y'know ... If only the train fare didn't cost £45 a time ... And that's for a Single trip!

Technically I suppose we didn't do very much. We wandered around a bit, and we did get to see three shops that sold comics, manga and anime. I was drooling muchly. I skim read the next episodes of some of my absolute faves and got to look at a couple more I'd never heard of. (Just out of interest we saw Descendants of Darkness 1-10 and Negima 1-9. Be jealous people ^^ ) We went to Malt Cross, an interesting bar/restaurant place and I tried a blackcurrant cordial and Ellechan had lime. It reminded me of my STIS', but to be honest cordial isn't as nice, even if it is a great deal cheaper!

If only we'd had some more time we could have gone to see a film. That would have been great, the Nottingham Cinema complex is wondeful and oh so cool. You could even get your haircut before the film!! Oh and there was this wonderful Victorian Water Clock. Gosh it would be great to go to meet someone there, it's so nice. And you'd have to arrive on the hour so it would chime or whatever just as you got there. *Daydreams happily*

It was in truth a whole day trip but I think I lost about 8 hours of my day somewhere ... The journey felt like about an hour, time with Elle maybe half an hour, and going back ... Well maybe 3 ... >_<

Now you have to be impressed because I got the Sound working on my laptop again!! For someone completely incompetent with computers I was seriously pleased with myself. I had to reinstall a driver ... Or something like that ... I do think the Wireless Netwrok card is broked though ... *Sighs* So no internet in my room still. And No Gmail either as this comp can't cope with it ... Maybe I should try the other one, although thats the one on the hall with NO privacy, At least this corner one you get some warning when siblings or parents are coming to spy on you ...

Also I briefly got the cable for my Mp3 player to work so I now have some Blackmore's Night and Mike Oldfield on there which was wonderful for the journey to Nottingham. And probably helped the time to pass quickerer.

AND I made cheesecake! Two actually although one was a ekaceseehc as I had to put the base on top rather than on the bottom. And even if it looked silly, it was really nice! Although, maybe thats just me being biased ...

Well now I really can't wait to get back to Rhul. Not the Essays and Exams of course but ... Love my family, but this feels a bit wrong, y'know. Its good to go back to it for a little, but it's sucking up my independance, and intensifying both my wanderlust and general apathy. But to be fair I haven't done this much travelling so close together for AGES! Because I have so little money I don't go on holidays generally speaking, but in the last 2 months, there's been Egham & Staines & Windsor, Nottingham, Cambridge & Norwich & Hunstanton, Munich, Bexhill & Hastings (Although I'm so accustommed to them they hardly count anymore ... But still, Re-discovery is a form of Discovery ne?) ... Of course ... I'm in even more debt now. Where does my money go for heavens sake?!?

Juice juice Guys, Can't wait to see you soon!
