22 hour comic day
I did it- I completed my 24th page at exactly 4am this morning, meaning the whole thing lasted 22 hours. I only took one proper break for half an hour.
The story is called 'Papa Bear's Dream' and I'm really pleased with it, even if it isn't the best artwork I've ever produced, for obvious reasons.
It wasn't the boredom or the tiredness that got to me, it was actually the physical pain. The last six hours were absoloute torture. When I updated at 6 I was complaining about backache, but by 10pm this pain was easily ignored due to the shooting pains travelling up my thumb, middle finger and wrist. It was painful even picking the pen up. I hadn't expected or prepared for this, and was a bit worried I was doing myself serious damage, but it's not too bad now.
Glad I did it, but I'm not sure it will be an annual event in this household.
