It started out just like any other Thursday, sleepy. I woke up just in time for me to grab a quick shower, and jump into some clothes. Some planning the night before made it easy to know what I would be wearing.
So I get to class, take the damn quiz, and head back to the Student Union to catch a bus. I realized I needed to shave right before I caught the next bus, so I walked over to CVS and made my purchase. By then, another bus had pulled up.
By the time I had gotten to my room, I already had a few people trying to talk to me on the computer. I let them all know I was going out, and I would talk to them later. I let Sarah know I was going to have to shave, then head out.
So I get to my car, and attempt to start it up. Nothing, once more, awesome, it worked. So I'm leaving the parking lot, when I realize I need gas, and that I needed to drop off a check in the bank.So by the time I hit the thruway I'm already 30 minutes behind schedule. Fan-fucking-tastic. So I give Sarah a call, let her know I'm running a little late.
The drive there goes without a hitch. I get therem I'm going around the big traffic circle. Hit a patch of black ice... Into a 3 foot snow pile. AWESOME. (Following conversation was shortened a bit).
So I give Sarah a call, "I'm here."
"Where?"
"In a three foot snow bank in front of school."
"What?"
"Yeah, it's pretty funny. Grab a camera, and try to find some people to help push,"
"...okay..."
Eventually someone shows up with his SUV, and offers to drag me out. Helpful guy.
So Sarah and I go out on the date. Our second first date at Ruby Tuesdays. Dinner was lovely, we got cake to go for later. Go back to her room, get ready to go to her volleyball game. I get to play photogapher (That's where Tony Fedora, Photojournalist came from). They won, both games were awesome.
We get back to her room, eat the cake and ice cream. Finish watching Iron Giant, then watch Talladega Nights. My mother calls at some point and we get into an arguement about Gina using the car in the morning. Eventually I agreed to just come home with it a half hour before I would have left anyway. (Not bad considering my mother). We talk for a bit, crack some jokes, then fall asleep.
We get up this morning, I go outside to my car. It doesnt start... at all. WONDERFUL. Eventually AAA shows up, gets my car started. I start driving home, and it starts to shake. I called my father, and I end up just taking Route 5 all the way home. He suggested the balance might be off.
I take it into Sam's Club to get tires balanced. Find out one of the springs is cracked, have to get it fixed. I take it into get an estimate. Long story shorter, couple other things are wrong with the car $800 if I want it fixed. My dad: "Don't bother."
So NOW, I have to buy another car... again. AWESOME.
All considering, TOTALLY worth it all to see Sarah again.
