WHERE IS IT AT?
Well - this week has been some what depressing for me. My car was stolen and that changes everything. I went to get some smokes out of it Sat. night and BAM it was not there! I am sure it will not be found or returned, if it is I am sure it will be in parts!
This of course totally messes up the plan I had for moving home. My original plan was to rent a trailer, install a hitch, and have my uncle fly out to drive back to AL with me. Well now that is down the toilet. I had already reserved the hitch installation as well as my uncle’s ticket to fly out here. I was able to cancel those two and get my money back - thankfully! I looked a ton of other options like shipping things home, selling them and just flying home, giving them to charity, and even renting a Uhaul. It was all way too pricy!
Well, last night a turn of events took place. I found a great new option and dove straight in. I can rent a van from Alamo Rentals and drive across country (still something I want to do because I love road trips). The rental is going to cost me the same price that he trailer rental was so I am good there. I save money by not having to pay for a hitch. My 2 good friends Court. and Charles are going to fly out and we are going to do the trip across country together. It’s something that the 3 of us have talked about doing ever since we were in high school and now its going to happen! I think it is going to be GREAT!
So - for now I am stuck here in my apt. Work is okay because I have a home office and can do everything from here. I am just going to tuff it out until the 30th when all of my things start coming together and I can get the van and my friends fly in.
