LA is for lovers
last week, on a whim, i bought a plane ticket out to LA for a long weekend.
i mainly was going to help out and judge the western regional barista championships.
i absolutely love working in the coffee industry. there are so many gerat people, and even more opportunities to learn. i really couldn't be any happier right now.
i got to meet up with joanne, a friend i had made thru friends back in seattle. she moved out here 4 months ago, and we got to catch up, dance, and have a grand ol time.
last night consisted of:
-drinking tall-boys of tacate
-dancing till i drop
-walking around drunk trying to find a place to stay
-watching jay re-in-act the billy jean video on a lit up sidewalk
-laughing till i was nauseous
-getting hit in the chest with a bird of paradise flower [but it felt like a 2x4]
-finally getting a room at 3am
i have had a great time, and it was worth the trip out.
back in washington at 6:50pm tomorrow, and then headed straight out to seattle for Adele.
peace out kids, i'm about to party it up in hollywood.
