that was a rather long subject, was it not?
this is a crappy poem that i wrote last year when i was feeling...well....crappy. but yea. i feel like this alot these days. ya know? alone. like ya know that one story, and its all, "water water everywhere, and not a drop to drink"? its about being lost at sea, and dying of dehydration because you cant drink ocean water. but yea its like that only its just that u have so many friends, and yet you are still so alone. noone reali knows the real you, noone really cares. they just use you. like u, ash, people use you because ur so cool and exciting. just being aroung you is like being famous, and everyone wants that. you lift people up with ur extream personality...no matter how ur feeling u still have this intense energy, and its just....yea. ur like a god. of course people want to be around you. its like getting high, only its cheaper. me, im used cause im availible. i listen, i hang with, and i do things for my friends, but five seconds later when something better comes along, they drop me without a second thought. sad, eh? on some leval i know thats not how it really happens, its just that in my mind, thats the way it is. and it sucks. yea so now this poem thing i wrote.
The Girl (yes, that would be me)
She’d sit there day by day, She’d wait there week by week. Watching the people go by, But never saying a thing. Then one day she stood up, And waved her arms around, But while she motioned crazily She never made a sound. Of all those people walking, Not one stopped to stare, No one seemed to notice That girl standing there. But from the middle Of the crowd, Two small eyes Watched her wave, The girl saw and smiled, Trying to be brave. And as the eyes came closer, Her face lit up with glee, And as the eyes were almost there, They vanished suddenly. The girl knew what had happened, She’d gone through it before At the first chance of a friend, The friend was there no more. She sat there day by day, Tears running down her cheeks, Hoping to be noticed But never saying a thing.
yea...i know. its not all that good. o well. it still gets the point across, i think.
