Samurai Champloo Rocks!!!!
Man! I've just finished the last episode of Samurai Champloo and I have officially fallen head over heels with this anime series.
Awesome plotline, characters and kick ass soundtrack. Hiphop and jazz all infused in a samurai flick. The result is definitely out of this world!!
I would expect less from the creators of Cowboy Bebop. CB also has an awesome soundtrack but it's more of jazz.
Samurai Champloo rarely takes itself too seriously. Here you will find some unexpected things i.e. love the Yoshitsune rap, the baseball episode etc. (can't spoil too much).The characters are just so dynamically alive to each other. My favorite among the lead characters is Jin. The guy is a typical serious character but he has his flaky and eccentric moments that makes me laugh out loud.
Oh, did I mention that I just adore his deep voice. *drool*
I really REALLY recommend watching this series.
