AU Doujinshi Iruka Character Sketch
I've just begun page one of the doujinshi... I'm still thinking of what medium to use. Being the lazy ass that I am, I usually do it with pencil. I started to think about using ballpoint pen and even the drawing pen.
Pencils are easy to use. But they are a bit messy. Pens and even ballpoint pens, makes my work look clean but they take a lot of time.
I got the idea when I was watching the old Madonna music video that looked like a crossover between merfolk and Guess ad. The males there looked hot and then I said to myself: " Iruka would definitely be smexy as a merman." then one thing led to another.
Here is Iruka with his hair unbound. Pretend that he's underwater. Since he just looked good, I was debating if I should let him be just like that. But then he wouldn't be the Iruka that I know.
Iruka is supposed to a different kind of merfolk that is he's half man and half dolphin. So no scales! Which makes my work way easier ( My lazy side is dancing with glee). I should study more on male anatomy since I'd be frequently drawing half-naked men.
Ok, I was researching about dolphins in the internet. I then stumbled on interesting facts about this underwater mammal and things that I wish I didn't know. Don't ask. Please. Where was I? Oh right...Well, perhaps that certain info would be useful in later parts of the story. Ok, moving on.
I was having difficulty drawing this. I was thinking : If one was living underwater, should he be putting clothes on? Because it is so damn distracting! If I were a student, I could not even look at the blackboard with that ass. * gags rabid fangirl side*. Ehem.I am so not sure on the back part. May change this in the actual dj...
It's official. I'm using pencils for the doujinshi.
