Stupid nature...
I think nature hates me. Today was supposed to be my day for running errends and getting things I need pretty desperately for school and such, and there's a blizzard raging outside. At least this time I was smart and decided to stay in. I guess this just means I have to get that much more homework done today, which is good, because, as I noted in my day planner, Monday is the day the shit hits the fan. I have:
2 assignments due on Monday, 1 on Wednesday and 1 on Thursday. On top of which I have to read, at a minimum, 2 articles on the politicsa of critical teaching, half a chapter and an article on second language aquisition, half a chapter on Buddhism, and Richard III. All of which are hideously boring. Plus I'm taking a CPR/ First Aid course this weekend, which eatys up a total of 18 hours, not counting travel time.
And as if that weren't enough, I also have to pack for my trip to Ottawa and subsequent visit home for Reading Week, which I will be spending READING and writing an essay while most of my peers are having fun in the sun in some tropical climate. I have a major essay (like, 40% of my final grade in that course major) due 2 days after I get back to school, coincidently the same day as my midterm for another class. I'm pretty much living for the trip to Ottawa this weekend and my birthday party next weekend, and just hoping and praying that I can get everything done. Wish me luck, folks.
